A special meeting was held on May 22, 2009 by the New Haven Township Board at the New Haven Township Hall. 

The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Dickinson at 6:00 p.m. with the pledge to the American Flag. 

A roll call was taken, members present, Supervisor Dickinson, Clerk Owen, Trustee LeCureux, Trustee Foster.   

Guest present, Dan Winters, Mary L. Eickholt, and Katy Brown.  

Motion by Trustee LeCureux, seconded by Clerk Owen to approve the agenda as presented.

All Ayes.

Motion Carried. 

Motion by Clerk Owen, seconded by Trustee LeCureux to accept the resignation of Treasurer Dawn Hudecek based on signed letter of resignation dated May 20, 2009, which indicated effective immediately.

A roll call vote was taken.

It was unanimously approved.

Motion Carried. 

Motion by Trustee Foster, seconded by Trustee LeCureux to appoint Mary L. Eickholt as Treasurer of New Haven Township thru November of 2010.

A roll call vote was taken.

It was unanimously approved.

Motion Carried. 

Motion by Clerk Owen, seconded by Trustee Foster to authorize Supervisor Dickinson, Clerk Owen, Treasurer Eickholt, and Trustee LeCureux, to be added to the signature cards at Chemical Bank for check signing purposes.

A roll call vote was taken.

It was unanimously approved.

Motion Carried. 

Motion by Clerk Owen, seconded by Trustee LeCureux to authorize up to twenty hours of training at $ 10.00 per hour for training for both the Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer.

A roll call vote was taken.

It was unanimously approved.

Motion Carried. 

Motion by Trustee Foster, seconded by Clerk Owen to appoint Katy Brown to handle the New Haven Township Hall Rentals effective May 22, 2009.

A roll call vote was taken.

It was unanimously approved.

Motion Carried.

Motion by Clerk Owen, seconded by Trustee Foster to recommend that the New Haven Township Treasurer designate the duties of collecting township hall rental fees to Katy Brown and Supervisor Donald Dickinson.

A roll call vote was taken.

It was unanimously approved.

Motion Carried. 

A motion was made by Trustee LeCureux, seconded by Trustee  Foster to adjourn at 7:47 p.m.
