The New Haven Township
Board met on August 3, 2009 at the New Haven Township Hall. The meeting
was called to order by Supervisor Dickinson at 7:00 p.m. with the pledge to the
flag.
A roll call was taken,
members present, Supervisor Dickinson, Clerk Owen, Treasurer Eickholt, Trustee
LeCureux and Trustee Foster.
Guests, David Lazar candidate for the 85th District for State Representative, and Fred Gray.
Motion was made by Trustee LeCureux, seconded by Trustee Foster to approve the agenda as presented.
All Ayes.

Motion was made by Trustee LeCureux, seconded by Trustee Foster, to approve the minutes from July 6, 2009.
All Ayes.

Treasurer Eickholt gave the
following report; General Fund $ 100,678.77, 2-Mill Road Account $
50,980.21, Township Investment Account $116,031.17, Perpetual Care $ 33,859.38,
Revolving Improvement Account (H) $ 9,607.00, Fire Account $ 124.73, Ambulance
Account $ 15.15 and Tax Checking Account $ 47,542.51.
Motion by Trustee LeCureux, seconded by Trustee Foster to approve the Treasurer’s Report as presented.
All Ayes.

No report was received from
the Sheriff’s Department due to Deputy Richardson’s
absence.
Motion by Trustee LeCureux, seconded by Treasurer Eickholt to authorize payment in the amount of $ 24,237.50 to the Shiawassee County Road Commission for the Brine Application applied in New Haven Township and to authorize the expenditure to be paid from the 2-Mill Road Account.
A roll call vote was taken.
It was unanimously approved.

Motion by Clerk Owen, seconded by Treasurer Eickholt to authorize the mileage payment to Sexton Felker in the amount of $ 99.00.
