The New Haven Township Board met on May 10, 2010, at the New Haven Township Hall. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Dickinson at 7:00 p.m. with the pledge to the flag.
A roll call was taken, members present, Supervisor Dickinson, Clerk Owen, Treasurer Eickholt, Trustee LeCureux and Trustee Foster.
Guests, Jim and Darlene Fitzgerald, Dan Winters, and Deputy Richardson.
Motion by Trustee LeCureux, supported by Treasurer Eickholt to approve the agenda as presented.
All Ayes.
Motion Carried.
Motion by Trustee LeCureux, supported by Treasurer Eickholt, to approve the minutes from April 5, 2010.
All Ayes.

Treasurer Eickholt gave the following report; General Fund $ 37,209.19, 2-Mill Road Account $81,284.62, Township Investment Account (A) $ 81,031.17, Township Investment Account (B) $ 35,058.86, Perpetual Care $ 34,169.21, Fire Account $ 40,890.12, Ambulance Account $ 5.32 and Tax Checking Account $ 522.33.
Motion by Trustee Foster, supported by Trustee LeCureux, to approve the Treasurer’s Report as presented.

Supervisor Dickinson noted that May 25, 2010 the township assessing process will be reviewed by the state.
Motion by Trustee LeCureux, supported by Treasurer Eickholt to authorize payment for the purchase of bond for a Notary Commission Bond Application and filing fee for Clerk Owen in the amount of $ 64.90 to Notary Services, and $ 10.00 for the Shiawassee County Clerk’s for a filing fee.
A roll call vote was taken.

It was noted that the Easton Church of Christ maintains an area in the Easton Cemetery during the Memorial Day Holiday and contributes the time and expense on behalf of the township. Jim and Darlene Fitzgerald were acknowledged for the generous donation made and asked to extend the thank you to the individuals that participate in this event.
Motion by Treasurer Eickholt, supported by Trustee LeCureux to authorize the payment of mileage to Clerk Owen in the amount of $ 17.00 and Sexton Gary Felker in the amount of $ 156.20.
A roll call vote was taken.
